I'm so worried about this I would appreciate any help I can get.The last product I sold was approx 3 months for a very high value. The winner paid by echeque through paypal. I waited for this to clear and following a call to paypal was assured it was safe to post. I sent the item Special Delivery. A week or so ago I threw out receipts over 2 months old. I also like to keep my emails low (hotmail) so I deleted any emails from the buyer. After such a lengthy period of time I believed it safe to do both of these things.The only info I still hold is his feedback that is very complimentary but states also fastest delivery.Now after 3 months I have received a chargeback from Paypal. I have tried everywhere for a duplicate tracking number but nobody can provide one. Paypal are of no help when you contact them, they won't even tell me the reason for the chargeback. The options I have when I respond to the dispute areI have proofMoney has been refundedorI admit being liable.This is so unfair, can anybody please help. I don't know what to do. This will have such a significant effect on the children at Christmas. I can't sleep worrying. I have contacted the police and they are looking in to the matter but this doesn't help to stop what Paypal are doing to me.Any advice/help/support is greatly appreciated.
