SPURS Fans, Please note that the new Tottenham 3rd kit for the latest season (2006/2007) is NOT limited edition!I have been lucky enough to obtain one through the spurs mail order hotline but I can see that lots of you are paying ridiculous prices for it!The following was released on the Tottenham Hotspur Website (www.tottenhamhotspur.com)

3rd KIT SALES

Our chocolate and gold kit has proved a sell-out success and appears to be the Club's fastest-selling third kit ever.

Commenting on the sales record, our Head of Retail, Victoria
Howarth, said: When we pre-order for the third kit, we generally
estimate around 3,000 and are usually left with a quantity unsold at
the end of the season. This time, hoping it may prove a more popular
choice, we ordered just under 5,000 and they have flown off the shelves.

I should like to clarify the misconception that this kit was ever
intended as a limited edition. That was never suggested, the only
limiting factor in all this was that our pre-order was for a set amount
as with any other third kit. We have re-ordered a second quantity and
will let everyone have the on-sale date as soon as we have it
confirmed.
