PAY PAL NOT AS SAFE AS YOU THINK

Selling item's on e-bay, you would think the best option for payment would be pay-pal,

YOU WOULD BE WRONG,

I sold an item, it was paidby pay-pal, so i sent the item asap, then after a couple of days the payment has been on hold, so i can't withdrawn the money, here's the reason why,

Thank you for contacting PayPal in relation to the payment that youhave received which is currently on hold. From viewing your account, it shows that we were declinedby the sender's bank so the payment was held. It is best to have thesender contact their bank to follow up on this issue and they may also contactus if they have questions regarding their funding source.Thank you for your time.Sincerely, MariaResolution Services Department PayPal, an eBay Company,

i contacted the buyer, and he claimed the transaction had cleared threw his bank, (well he would say that)

so i recontacted pay-pal asking them what i should next, they replyed,

Thank you for contacting PayPal in relation to the payment that was reversed from your PayPal account.Due to data protection reasons we are unable to give you the specific reason why a payment may be reversed, however it could be one of the following reasons:- Funds obtained by fraudulent means - Stolen credit card details - Stolen bank account details - Unauthorised use of a PayPal account - Buyer's bank denied the transaction after reviewing the details of the transaction, it appearsthat the funds you received were found to be unauthorised and it was determined that the most appropriate action was to return the funds to their original source. Regrettably, I can see that the details indicate it was ineligible for seller protection and sent to an unconfirmed address. Unfortunately, as a business, PayPal can not cover all transactions andthey won't cover them unless the guidelines of the Seller ProtectionPolicyare followed, as these guidelines ensure that transactions areconducted as low risk as possible. To learn the specific terms and conditions of the Seller ProtectionPolicy, simply click on 'User Agreement' located at the bottom of any PayPal webpage. (You may also wish to seek legal advice or contact your local police to proceed with the investigation of this case. In accordance with ourprivacy policies, PayPal will provide the relevant information on this case tothe police.)I do sincerely apologise for any frustration caused. Please let me knowif you need further assistance.I understand your frustration regarding this matter and regret any inconvenience it might have caused you.Sincerely, Doye Peter PayPal, an eBay Company ,

SO IF A BUYER PAYS FOR ONE OF YOUR ITEM'S WITH A STOLEN CREDIT CARD OR FALSE BANK DETAILS THERE IS NOT A LOT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT, UNLESS YOU WANT THE LONG DRAWN OUT PROCESS OF TAKING THE BUYER TO COURT,

SO IF YOU HAVE BEEN PAID AND THE BUYER BY PAY-PAL,

IT REALLY DOESN'T MEAN THE FUNDS ARE IN YOUR ACCOUNT,

AND IF THE BUYERS BANK DETAILS ARE FALSE OR THE BUYER USED A STOLEN CREDIT CARD, DO NOT EXPECTANY HELP FROM PAY-PAL,

PLEASE ADD YOUR VOTE SO THIS BECOMES MORE VISABLE TO OTHER E-BAYERS,

MANY THANKS
