Frumpy or Frivolous Underwear for the over fifties

Frumpy or Frivolous Underwear for the over fifties

Feeling comfortable AND sexy doesn't need to be the preserve of the younger generations. Feeling comfortable AND sexy IS possible.Being over 50 does not mean having to wear ugly, restrictive, frumpy underwear that goes grey the first time it is washed. More of you are now realising that there is an increasing availability of luxury lingerie and are seeking it out.

Wearing gorgeous underwear can have such a positive impact on how we feel about ourselves. Ifwe get it right, it changes our whole outlook - gives us confidence in howwe look and feel. French ladies discovered the secret many years ago - they dress from the inside. Wearing beautiful underwear that makes them feel good about themselves and gives them confidence: their outer clothes look and feel better beacuse their underwear has given them a perfect base to build on.

There is no reason why you cannot choose to wear pretty, frilly stuff that is readily available from the supermarkets and high street stores everywhere. However, there will be times whn cheap and cheerful just isn't enough. More and more over 50's are treating themselves to luxury lingerie - and why not? Why shouldn't you enjoy the experience of choosing something lovely and then enjoy the experience of feeling beautiful when you are wearing it? It doesn't have to be 'bedroom wear,' it doesn't have to be hugely expensive, just as long as you are comfortable and feel better about yourself.

It is sad but true - as we age, our breast tissue really needs more support than when we were younger, and no matter what our size, we need to wear bra's that offer that level of support. For general day to day wear, there are many brands available that offer good support, whatever the age or size of the wearer. Increasingly these brands are becoming more fashionable and are now rivalling someof the long standing brands.

But the main head turners are the luxury ranges from smaller design houses such as Barbara - a Parisian lingerie design house that uses the best French leavers lace and Swiss embroidery in the making of these gorgeous garments. These are popular across all age groups, but are selling well to more mature ladies as they recognise and appreciate the quality and elegance of these beautiful, sexy garments. The men are happily buying these sets for their wives/partners as they are starting to understand that buying a bra and brief set that is sexy and romantic (rather than rude and trashy!!) is the way to your heart!

Top Tips

Buying luxury lingerie is such a treat: either we are buying it for our own comfort; or we are buying it as a treat for our lover! If the underwear is not for a present, choosing together can be a verypleasant experience - especially if it is online.

Buying frivolous lingerie for yourself:

Either be properly fitted or carefully follow a published fitting guide to make sure you are buying the right size

Baby Gifts - Choosing the best one

Choosing The Right Baby Gift

FIVE of my close friends have given birth in the past month and I have been struggling to find affordable - yet unique - baby gifts.

When I gave birth two years ago, we were inundated with tiny baby outfits, which were gorgeous but we didnt manage to use them all.So when my friends had their babies, I decided to search on the Net for a more imaginative baby gift depending on the type of person they are.

Im a fan of unusual or personalised baby gifts and there are so many products available on the market now that I was spoiled for choice.I would advise that when you buy a gift for a new baby, think of the parents personalities and it helps you to choose the perfect baby gift.

Creative Mum - I chose an Impression Kitfor my more artistic friend as I thought she would have great fun with it. The kit makes a raised impression which means the footprint is raised from the tile instead of sunken down and it includes the moulding materials and a pine box frame.

Trend-setting Mum I found the best idea for my ever-so-trendy friend! Nappy Cake ! They are straight over the US and have been featured on Sex And The City. They are a clever gift of clothing and bibs, neatly bundled together to look like a cake. Almost good enough to eat!

Sentimental Mum - I found a beautiful Keepsake Boxwhich is ideal for storing all the congratulations cards and other little treasures for my friend who likes to keep reminders of every stage of her babys life. She has decided to use it to store other memories too, including a lock of her babys hair.

Traditional Mum My best friend is very traditional when it comes to baby gifts, so I splashed out and bought her vouchers to have her babys first Shoe Bronzed. I know she will be delighted with this as she can proudly display.

House-Proud Mum - Another baby gift that I fell in love with is the Magic Prints Kit. This allows parents to use an invisible coated wipe to re-create a babys tiny footprint. I bought the kit for a friend who hates mess, but loves to remember her children when they are tiny (shes just had her third).

Now I can sit back and relax in the knowledge that five new mums have been given some really lovely gifts, and I managed to get them all without leaving my study!

Mobile phones contract deals

Avoid buying contract deals from ebay sellers, because you will spend 0.99 (at minimum, some charge even more)and then you are under obligation of buying that contract deal from the seller , some may even sell the information(why buy information or pay sellers when you can find the best contract deals yourself?)

What ifthe contract dealdoes not suit your needs? Well in some cases the seller will not refund your money and who will end up losing the money is the buyer.

If you are looking for mobile phone contract deals I recommend that you visit:

www.simfone.co.uk -Highlight the link , copy and then paste into your browser address bar.

This Website Searches and ComparesAll the Latest Deals from all UK's Leading Retailers , and is Updated Daily. There are Also Some Amazing 12 Month Contracts With 12 Months Free Line Rental anda Free Phone.(Its worth a visit there before buy a phone)

With nearly all phones you will receive money back for the contract you take out, sometimes it is as much as 12 months free on a 12 month contract. All you need to do is pay the monthly contract fees and at intervals throughout the 12 months you can send your bills to the supplier who will refund you the prearranged amount set out at the beginning of the contract.

For example a 12 month contract of 30 a month with 12 months free line rental

Pay the 30 a month fee for the 12 months and at intervals normally at month 4, 8 and then 12, send your bills off and they will refund you with 120 at each interval, therefore at the end of the contract you will of paid nothing and had the use of the phone andget to keep thephone afterwards.

There is also a forum so you can discuss anything about contract deals and mobile phones.

Direct Bank Funding of PayPal Accounts

Please be aware that when PayPal ask you to set up direct bank funding of your PayPal Account (usually when you reach the 200 sending limit) they are actually setting up a Direct Debit to take the amounts you spend on purchases out of your account. Therefore, although you may THINK the money is leaving your account immediately, it may take some days for the Direct Debit to be completed and cleared through your bank account. Please be aware therefore that you may end up paying returned Direct Debit fees to your bank, particularly if you are unsure as to your current bank balance. I picked up 245 returned Direct Debit fees in ONE MONTH in this way and although I sucessfully had 200 returned by my branch, I would hate others to make this mistake.

In short, if PayPal ask you to set up Direct Bank Funding, read the terms and conditions CAREFULLY and UNDERSTAND what you are agreeing to, it is in fact a variable Direct Debit not Direct Bank Funding and items will be paid for by PayPal, even if your bank account can't cover the payment.

Hope this is helpful.

Tibetan Silver -Run the Other Way

This is not Sterling Silver, this is mainly tin and if you don't mind having black/blue marks on your body from wearing this junk, have at it. You can avoid this from happening by either spraying on a clear coat or if it is a smaller item use clear nail polish to cover the item before your skin gets tarnished. :

Please eamil us prior to purchase to ensure we can get your chosen item to you.

This keepsake gift which can be signed (approx 30 signatures)by family and friends tocreate your lasting memory of a very special day. It's a great gift and alternative to a guest book and comes in a presentation box. Prices from 24.99 plus postage and packaging.

The signature plate - It can be personalised if you allow enough time or left neutral if you need a last minute gift. The plate is another great alternative to a guest book and a slightly more unusual gift. The baby design has been designed exclusively for Creative Casting by Lee Heeley (cartoonist). The kit comes boxed with a contemporary8 inch round squared edge plate with the baby in the middle and a porcelaine pen for all the guests to sign and share there thoughts for the future on. This is a funky idea leaving traditional storks and babies and basketsbehind but allowing a great reminder to everyone in years to come of that special ocassion. The personalisation around the plate needs 7 working days to achieve so if it's last minute don't order personalisation as it won't arrive in time. Get creative when it arrives and do it yourself (if you make a mistake you can always use a baby wipe to rub off and do it again).

3d Hands and Feet Casting Kits :

Why not purchase our starter kit which has enough materials to make and cast 4 moulds and includes silver paint. The price is 18.99 plus postage.

If you have a little more in the budget why not choose our kits including a presentation frame which is beautifully presented in this box. The prices start from 24.99 (excluding postage).

Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul Review -Electric Guitar

Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul

There is a sizeable pool of Gibson devotees everywhere (regardless if they own one) who look up to the Epiphone copies simply because the latter brand name was commissioned to propel Gibson`s distinction. Through personal experiences, we often note that many Epiphone solid body makes contain blatant inadequacies (intended or otherwise) which often demerit the manufacturer`s goodwill. This write-up isn`t about rallying Epiphone dissent, instead it attempts to address matters pertaining to a guitar`s forte/ deficiencies which constitute an appreciation process. Ready?

Gibson`s meticulous finish often leaves an auditioning shopper awe-struck due to its organic nature
